Visiting mom for Mother’s day, we spent an evening bird watching at the little brook that flows through her condo complex in Largo, Florida. Here are a few of the birds we enjoyed, two of which were first timers for us.

Finally, the largest of the birds on the stream, a Great Blue Heron
