2019 Holiday Greetings

Dear Friends and Family:

It was a rough Spring watching Mark’s dad slip away during a protracted battle with Alzeimer’s disease. After a celebration of Dad’s life in Florida, we were more determined than ever to travel, so set out on our longest land adventure yet. From an alligator ranch in Mississippi, to the soaring peaks of the Rockies, and the rockbound northern shore of Lake Superior, we were awestruck by the natural beauty of North America. Traveling over 18,000 miles in six months, we really enjoyed our little camping van. The people we met along the way were incredibly kind and we are privileged to have new friends scattered across the continent.

November had us heading to Florida. The trip was interrupted for a Seattle flight to say goodbye to Mark’s cousin Linda who was taken away too early by brain cancer. Returning to better news, grand niece Talia was born just in time to meet her at Thanksgiving with Beth’s family in southeast Florida.

We wish you a happy and healthy New Year filled with interesting adventures.

Mark and Beth

Holiday Greetings from our family to yours.
