The second Pleasure-Way East–West Connection Rally was a great opportunity to reconnect with friends across the country. Here’s a little taste of each day’s activities
Day 1 – Arrival
Everyone was welcomed with a cocktail party on the first night. Pleasure-Way t-shirts were given to anyone that didn’t have one from a prior rally.
The ever popular sign-up for a personal visit list!
We continue to be impressed that Pleasure-Way personnel come troubleshoot their products, irrespective of age, at these rallies.
Day 2
The campground owners were active throughout the rally, even helping to serve dinner. Brunch and dinners were included in the rally price.
Darryl LeVesque hosted two fun sessions where owners were invited to share their favorite gadgets. So many people were interested that the group was divided between even and odd numbered sites.
Riders of the ABC train had a barrel of fun zipping around the campground.
Evening brought everyone together for a Hillbilly Party with the talented and fun Homestead Pickers. Phil released his inner rooster as a guest singer in Ghost Chickens in the Sky.
We were fortunate to see the Pickers as the leader of the group, Danny Eakin (right) retired only a few weeks after their performance.
The “best hillbilly” contest had everyone in stitches. It wasn’t just a costume contest, the winner had to show their musical talent.
Day 4
An ice cream social was followed by Q&A with Phil & Ryan from Pleasure-Way
Everyone gathered for a Group Photo
Phil and Ryan from Pleasure-Way gave closing announcements.
…and gave away more PW swag. I don’t think anyone left the rally that didn’t have at least one item from Pleasure-Way.
Day 5
Goodbyes were said and vans headed out to make room for a Newmar Rally. I hope they had as much fun as we did!
Many thanks are due to Barbara-Lynn Smith (West) and Bobbie Bergstrom (East) for coordinating the East-West Connection Rally!

It is hard to believe that the first Connection rally was five years ago. The story from that experience is in an older blog post. 2018 Branson Rally
