Cetaceans

We had an exciting run from New Smyrna Beach to Titusville today, not because of danger or weather, but due to dolphins playing in our boat pressure wave. The must have been interested in Noah, because they
would roll over on their side and look at him, but ignore me. Noah named them “Uno” and “Dos”.  Met some dolphin researchers later and they said this was one of the best days they have had this year for finding dolphins. They identified sixty-seven different animals. We’re going to email them some of our
photos so we can learn more about Noah’s two friends. We also sighted a space shuttle on the launch pad in the far distance.  It was 82 degrees and sunny, so we could really enjoy being on the water. After fueling and pumping out the holding tank in Titusville, we had to wait to get into our slip because it was occupied by a big old manatee.

We plan to leave the boat here for about a week while we go visit my parents and maybe even play a few days at Disney World and Cape Canaveral. We’re waiting for the replacement window for the dinghy to come so that can be repaired, so might as well make the best of the delay.
