Feet Dunk’n Day

This was our longest day so far, leaving Deltaville, VA
at 0720 and setting the anchor in Solomons, MD at 1900. Very little wind, but
some large boat wakes (300 meter size boats) made for good feet dunk’n. Beth
and Noah sat out on the rail and waited for big waves to cool them off. They
got soaked according to Noah.  Great fun after the third day of school in
the cockpit. A resident swan came to visit us in the anchorage and a beautiful
sunset ended the day. There are all kinds of expensive marinas around and the
Holiday Inn is nice enough to share there wi-fi with us.
