Enjoyed a few days with Mom and Dad in Largo. The weather was great for a picnic and it was train ride day in Largo Central Park.

Member of the Largo Central Railroad host an open house with free train rides on the first full weekend of every month. Over a mile of track through the landscape of Largo City Park are always a hit with families. This city does a really nice job of providing community pools and parks.

A local bird rescue group entertained people in line with an injured Kestrel and a pair of screech owls.

Coast Guard helicopters make regular runs from the station at St Petersburg airport to the gulf.

Largo had grown in the twenty plus years mom and dad have lived here. They are content here and were smart to choose a place within walking distance of parks, church and the library.
