Meeting a few new owners recently, we wanted to give them places to learn more about their rigs. So… here’s a list of groups we know about.
Nothing beats getting together with other owners. Join a group and attend a rally. If you can’t do that, at least get involved in a mailing list or Facebook group.
These are just the Pleasure-Way specific groups. There are all kinds of RV Lifestyle, Van Life, and Class B groups as well, but that would take another post or two.
Please leave a comment if there are other groups you would recommend.
Owner’s Groups
Pleasure-Way Owner’s Group

For almost 30 years, this group has been dedicated to owners of Pleasure-Way Class B recreational vans and is not open to the public.

Once you ask to join the group, you’ll get an automated email immediately.
Note: This group has great on-line resources with Databases, Files, Photos, and Wikis. I learned, after researching this list, that Barbara-Lynn Smith has been maintaining a Wiki with these resources for several years.
Pleasure-Way RV Club West (PWRVCW)
The club communicates via newsletters, a groups.io mailing list, and maintains extensive databases and troubleshooting files. Several rallies are held most years.

I found 15 Pleasure-Way owner’s groups on Facebook in addition to the Pleasure-Way Industries official company page. We have a love/hate relationship with Facebook, but the four of these groups we belong to are well moderated and generally helpful and kind.

This group is a welcoming place for owners of Pleasure-Way vans to help “wannabees” with their research, purchase, mods, fixes, etc., of their own vans. Our main rule is to be kind and respectful. Arrogant, rude, and/or condescending members will be removed without notice. Oh, and “for sale” posts are fine, but no ads or promotional posts otherwise. And that’s that.

For learning and sharing resources for the operation, troubleshooting, and fixing of all pre 2014 Pleasure Way RVs. Members are encouraged to become self-reliant and to work on their RVs so that they can learn how to troubleshoot and potentially repair common problems. This is not a social group but a place to learn all about your van. Be advised that this group has rules that are strictly enforced.
