Searching YouTube we found this video from Dave at One AdVANture At A Time. It gave us almost all the info we needed to get replace our battery. 1) We found that the battery compartment cover had changed from 2016 to 2018. Ours didn’t have the screw under the center console.
2) Since we elected to add a larger battery, we had to remove this plastic spacer in the bottom of the battery compartment.
Squeezing the ends of the spacer released the hooks. and it popped right out.
Because Dave’s video is so helpful, we didn’t document our installation with photos this time.
Tools needed:
13MM Socket
10 MM Wrench
Quarter (Coin)
Phillips screwdriver

Underside of the battery compartment cover shows the closure screws. They rotate 270° to open or close.
