Catching up on last fall’s travel.
Day three of five on our way home from Branson, MO to Durham, NC. We cross most of Tennessee and spend the night at a farmers co-op that serves great breakfasts.

We passed a bad accident on the interstate. Stopped here to wait out some heavy rain. Underway again at 1614.

Farmers’ Storehouse is our Harvest Host for tonight.
A local Pleasure-Way Plateau FL owner was making a delivery, but they were in and out before we had a chance to say hi.
Milling is viewable through this picture window. Local flour and other supplies are available for purchase.
Hay fields with bales we call “round cows” are visible across the street.
Overnight was fine here with a level spot and no big streetlights. There seemed to be more road noise than we remember from our last visit. Maybe Sparta is growing.
The test kitchen is new since our last stop.
Spending at least $30 to support this Harvest Host isn’t difficult!
So many decisions!
Freshly made Bourbon French Toast with cinnamon, bananas, and blueberries was the winner. They even loaned us a syrup dispenser so I could deliver breakfast to Beth in our van.
This was our second time stopping here and we heartily recommend them for an overnight stay. Just be sure to budget time for breakfast.
